Datacare Software Group Raises US $5.4 Million Expansion Funding
IRELAND, November 7, 2000 - The Datacare Software Group (DSG), provider of the corporate records management solutions, Secretariat, Monicord, and Global Corporate Manager today announced a US $5 million expansion funding from Penta Capital, the Glasgow-based UK mid-market private equity fund, and a further US$0.4 million from existing shareholder Enterprise Equity (Irl) Ltd.
DSG recently launched Global Corporate Manager, the world’s first web based, multi-jurisdictional solution offering multinational organisations solid, central control of their corporate records, yet retaining the flexibility to conform to local corporate legislation in many jurisdictions across the world.
Paul Toye, Chief Operations Officer of the Datacare Software Group, said:

David Calder, a Director of Penta Capital, who will be joining Datacare’s board as non-executive director, added:

Penta has taken an undisclosed minority stake in Datacare.
