Ernst & Young Forge New Partnership with Datacare Software Group
London, UK, June 5, 2001 - Recent developments in the company secretarial market have seen the Datacare Software Group set up a partnership with the UK’s largest company secretarial services provider, Ernst & Young.
The partnership is based around Datacare’s latest product, Global Corporate Manager™ (GCM). GCM is the first web-based system that allows the tracking of compliance data worldwide while allowing local users to produce their relevant forms and reports. For example, a user in the United Kingdom would be able to produce an Annual Return while at the same time their American counterparts could produce the relevant State or Federal forms from the same system.
All the corporate information is stored on a central database so that users can check and retrieve data from other jurisdictions. Thus when a company secretarial department in Hong Kong has finished work for the day, the UK department still has up-to-date access to the records, and vice versa.
Implementing a worldwide solution has to be planned carefully and this is where Ernst & Young believe they can bring their expertise and experience to assist global compliance functions.
