Datacare Software Group Launches the Federal Electronic Filing Module in Conjunction with Industry Canada
TORONTO, ON, November 1, 2001 - Datacare Software Group, the international leader in corporate secretarial software is pleased to announce the introduction of Federal electronic incorporation & filing features to its Canadian application, MONICORD®. Datacare is the first government approved software provider in English-Canada to provide Federal e-incorporation and e-filing services directly from the client database via its web-based module - NetFiler.
“We have built a web-based interface that passes data from the client’s MONICORD database directly to the Strategis website of Industry Canada. From a user perspective, this allows new corporations to be set up only once in the MONICORD database without needing to re-enter information a second time on the Strategis site. This feature speeds up the process considerably and also reduces the chance for discrepancies due to data entry errors.
The e-filing module also serves as a data repository whereby all the previous transactions can be stored and reviewed at a later date,” said Alex Petrovic, LL.B., A.I.T., Project Manager in charge of Datacare’s e-filing initiative.
