Computershare Governance Services, a global leader in corporate governance and entity management software, has a strategic OEM and reseller agreement with Business Objects (www.businessobjects.com), a world leader in information management, to embed Crystal's powerful web-based reporting, analysis and information delivery solutions for relational data into CGS's Global Entity Management System application. The joint development resulting from this agreement enables our client companies to seamlessly access a complete range of corporate information for reporting, analysis and planning.
By combining the powerful web-based reporting, analysis and information delivery solutions from Business Objects with the market-leading governance technology from Computershare Governance Services, customers will have broad and easy access to their corporate subsidiary data. With improved data access, reporting and information delivery capabilities, companies will be able to distribute secure, interactive reports to every user, executive or partner to improve corporate transparency within their organization.
Computershare Governance Services extensively evaluated a number of reporting and information delivery solutions on the market before selecting Crystal Reports, a world standard for high performance reporting. The new agreement builds on a long-standing and successful informal relationship between the two companies.
Near term, the agreement between Computershare Governance Services and Business Objects enables Computershare Governance Services to resell Crystal Reports, Crystal Reports Server Licenses and Crystal Enterprise through its direct sales force.
